I was born the oldest of 8, five sisters and two brothers. Being the oldest, I had a lot of responsibilities. My father was killed when I was 4 years old and my mother, who was a young widow/single mother, had some struggles in life. But my mother was a good mother and

provider. We never missed a meal and we had what we needed. She did her best with 8 children. My mother instilled in us respect and she taught us to fear God even though we weren't in church. 

 

My mother taught me how to lead, how to be responsible, how to cook & clean, how to keep a house and how to take care of my siblings. I valued what my mother taught me at such an early age. My mother passed away when I was 19 and the rest of my siblings were minors and my youngest baby sister was only 6 months at the time of our mothers' death. At that time, life became such a dark place to me. I had so much more responsibility. I helped my grandmother raise my siblings because it was a lot with 8 children left behind. I worked really hard to help raise my siblings.I was angry with God because I couldn't understand how and why I had to lose our mother at an early age. My father was dead and now my mother gone too. She was only 36 years old.

I was existing, but not living, only going through the motions. I had no understanding that even in our trials, in our struggles, that God Had a plan for me. But one day, I heard the word of God at a church so clear that it penetrated in me. I was angry. I didn't want to accept what the preacher was saying. But I heard him loud and clear. The preacher said, “you can be a good person, but if you don't have Jesus, good isn't good enough and you'll be on your way to hell.” He read 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, “know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? BE NOT DECEIVED: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God."

 

At that time I was a fornicator, but I didn't know it. He said, “If you don't have Jesus as your Lord & Savior then you're unrighteous." You need Jesus! He said, “the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God." I didn't know that a fornicator was someone having sex without being married. I didn't know I was committing sin. I thought I was a good person, which I was, but I wasn't a person who had repented for my sins.

 

 One day, I had a dream and I saw myself on my way to hell. In the dream, I told God that I didn't want to go to hell, and God told me what I had to do. The way to heaven is mapped out and spoken in His word.The Bible is the roadway to heaven. God saved me clean off the streets. He changed my life forever. I was 23 1/2 years of age when the Lord saved me (I repented). 

 

The Lord called and chose me. God told me that He called me to Evangelize. I'm now sold out to Christ. I'm a soldier for God. I'm on a mission to compel others to turn to Jesus Christ. I am convinced that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. In Him we live, move and have our being. God came into my heart and changed me. I'm no longer just existing, but I am living my best life because my life is in God. 

 

I am a wife, mother and grandmother. My husband is also saved and sanctified. When a man loves God, he knows how to love his wife. Thank God for a Godly husband. I am employed: I work for the state of Missouri. It was prophesied that I was going to be working there. It was said that God was going to save someone on my job through my life. I don't just go to work to get a paycheck, I go to impact people and to be a light in a dark place. 

 

In 1995,when God saved me - at New Mount Zion (COGIC), a strong and sturdy foundation was laid in me. Holiness and Sanctification was instilled in me. I learned how to study the word of God; how to apply it to my life and how to share it with others. NMZ is a bible teaching, tongue talking, foot stomping, and spirit lead church. I was under the leadership of Pastor/Superintendent Jessie Smith Jr. for 24 years. I was a faithful member. I ran revivals, taught Prayer & Bible Band Class, led prayer meetings, had youth out-reaches, women out-reaches, etc. I was licensed in 2010 as a Missionary and an Evangelist. 

 

God had given me a passion for lost souls. I was a person who didn't know God - but God revealed Himself unto me. Jesus is real and He came in and transformed me. He changed my life. Jesus filled me with His Holy Spirit in 1996. I'm a prayer warrior - an intercessor. l have a heart to see people's lives changed! I don't look to give people band-aid fixes, but I look to God to convict,to change, to turn the heart of people back unto Him. I look for permanent solutions for others and that's Jesus. Jesus is the answer. Jesus came so that we may have life and life more abundantly. You're not really living until you're living in Jesus. 

 

When God began to lead my husband and I somewhere else, it was hard for me, being that I had been a member at NMZ for 24 years. l still have a good relationship with some of the members there. NMZ is more than a church to me - it's my family. My spiritual Father is the Assistance Pastor there. He has impacted my life over the last 26 years and he's one of the reasons why I'm the woman that I am today. 

 

Though it was hard, my husband and I trust God. We had to follow His (The Lord) leading, knowing that God has a plan for our lives. Now we're members of The Sanctuary. We love it there. I'm on a mission for God. I'm moving forward in the things of God. I have been taking Bible Courses and I'm taking Bible College Courses through the college associated with The Sanctuary. I'm always studying the word of God. Always looking to grow in the knowledge of God. Always looking to grow spiritually and to receive revelation from God. I'm launching out into the deep. I'm moving forward in God. I'm not going to sit down on the things of God. I want to see people delivered. 

 

4-Wind Ministry was birthed in my spirit in 2005. I'm moving forward with what God told me to do. God has anointed me and appointed me to compel people to turn back unto Him. This website is created to bring honor and glory unto God. It is a tool used for reaching the lost. This website is designed to be a resource for those in need of a word from the Lord. This website is created to encourage, to uplift, to motivate and to turn people to Jesus Christ. This 4-Wind website was inspired by God.

 

My story is simple - I am a sinner saved by grace. Now I am a new creature in Christ. I am a Saint, a child of God. An Evangelist with an assignment. I'm on a mission to win souls for Christ. Pray for me, pray for this website and pray for all those who come on this website that they may be touched, healed and delivered. Pray my strength in the Lord.
